Yes! Students who complete this course are eligible for 3 college credits at St. Francis University towards Biology 103: Environmental Studies. They are also eligible for 1 college credit at Seton Hill University for SBL405-Special Topics in Biology: Tropical Biology
Do I need to know Spanish to participate?
No, you do not need to know Spanish to participate. All classes will be taught in English. However, improving your knowledge of Spanish by learning even a few phrases, will definitely enrich your experience.
Do I need to have taken AP science courses to apply?
No. There is no minimum GPA or course requirement. Ecology, ornithology, and herpetology are not classes offered in most high school programs. We seek motivated, respectful applicants with an expressed interest in science and nature.
