Payment Schedule

The following information details payment due dates, cancellation policies, and payment methods.

Payment Schedule

Your enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of a $350 deposit. This deposit is refundable in full until 100 days before departure. Final trip tuition is due 70 days prior to your departure day. The total trip cost is subject to the following payment schedule:

Initial Deposit

$350 per student  due with enrollment.                          

Second Deposit

$TBA per student due 100 days before departure

Final Deposit

$TBA per student due 70 days before departure

Payment Methods

Payment is only accepted by check or money order. To keep our prices fair, we do not accept credit cards. Please make checks payable to Scholsatica Travel Inc. Send your checks to:

Trip Cancellation

Individual cancellations will receive a full refund for cancellations made up to April 9,2015, less any nonrefundable payments to suppliers. Refunds for cancellations are subject to the following charges per person.

Up until 100 days before the trip

Full refund.

99 to 71 Days before Departure

Full refund, less any non-refundable payments to suppliers

70 to 56 Days before Departure

50% refund of trip price, less any non-refundable payments to suppliers

55 to 46 Days before Departure

25% refund of trip price, less any non-refundable payments to suppliers

45 Days or Less before Departure

No refund

Scholastica Field Studies reserves the right to cancel unpaid applicants whose tuition is past due, with no return of fees. Scholastica Field Studies reserves the right to cancel any trip because of inadequate enrollment that makes the trip economically unfeasible to operate. In this event, we will refund your tuition paid. However, we are unable to refund any tuition following trip cancellation that results from factors outside our control including but not limited to terrorism, natural disaster, or other major global events and therefore recommend you purchase travel insurance. Scholastica Field Studies is not responsible for costs incurred by a participant’s family in preparing for a program that is altered or cancelled.

If you must cancel your reservation, please send a completed “Request for Refund” form to: Scholastica Travel Inc., Refund Request Department, 601 South Main Street, Greensburg, PA 15601 or fax your request to (724) 837-4664. Your refund request will be evaluated by the postal cancellation date on your letter or the date of your fax. Please allow 30 days for processing. Scholastica reserves the right to cancel a tour due to low participation.  If Scholastica cancels a tour, you will be notified 90 days prior to scheduled departure and will receive a full refund of all payments made to Scholastica. Scholastica Field Studies reserves the right to cancel unpaid applicants whose full tuition is more than 30 days past due, with no return of fees.
