Your enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of a $350 deposit. Enrollments are accepted on a rolling basis. In the event that a field study has the maximum number of students enrolled, further applicants will be placed on a waiting list in the event of cancellations.
Final trip tuition is due 70 days prior to your departure day.
Scholastica Field Studies reserves the right to cancel unpaid applicants whose tuition is past due, with no return of fees. Scholastica Field Studies reserves the right to cancel any trip because of inadequate enrollment that makes the trip economically unfeasible to operate. In this event, we will refund your tuition paid. However, we are unable to refund any tuition following trip cancellation that results from factors outside our control including but not limited to terrorism, natural disaster, or other major global events and therefore recommend you purchase travel insurance. Scholastica Field Studies is not responsible for costs incurred by a participant’s family in preparing for a program that is altered or cancelled.
Initial Deposit $350 per student due with enrollment.
Second Deposit $TBA per student due March 4, 2015
Final Deposit $TBA per student due April 8, 2015
Individual cancellations will receive a full refund for cancellations made up to April 8, 2015, less any nonrefundable payments to suppliers. Refunds for cancellations are subject to the following charges per person.
Up until March 4, 2015: Full refund.
March 5, 2015 until April 8, 2015: Full refund, less any non-refundable payments to suppliers
April 9, 2015 to April 22, 2015: 50% refund of trip price, less any non-refundable payments to suppliers
April 23, 2015 to May 5, 2015: 25% refund of trip price, less any non-refundable payments to suppliers
May 6, 2015 to June 17, 2015: No refund
If you must cancel your reservation, please send a completed “Request for Refund” form to: Scholastica Travel Inc.,Attn: Field Studies Refund Request Department, 601 South Main Street, Greensburg, PA 15601 or fax your request to (724) 837-4664. Your refund request will be evaluated by the postal cancellation date on your letter or the date of your fax. Please allow 30 days for processing.
