Marine Ecology Field Study Course in Bonaire
Course Description: Discover the amazing underwater ecosystems of Bonaire during this Marine Biology Field Study. With over 80 protected dive sites, Bonaire National Marine Park is the ideal location for coral reef exploration. Our home base for this course will be the famous Buddy Dive Resort. The first portion of the course will focus on attaining your PADI Open Water Diver certification. Building on this skillset, students will learn the field techniques used by professional marine biologists during hands-on projects and activities. Students will work in teams to design and conduct their own research project, building on the concepts and techniques that they learned throughout the field study. This field study is an outstanding opportunity for students considering careers in marine sciences.

Eligibility: Open to all U.S. high school students currently enrolled in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade at the time application.
